Our MISSION
To strengthen our community through cultural enrichment while supporting regional economic growth, serving Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington.  We accomplish this primarily through the production and presentation of “Shanghaied in Astoria”, thus preserving our community’s cultural heritage. 

Our PURPOSES
To produce, sponsor and present Performing Arts programs.
To support regional performing artists.
To act as an advocate for the Performing Arts in our region.
To preserve the folklore of our community’s ethnic background.
To give back by supporting students and volunteers through education and educational scholarships for Performing Arts.

The Astor Street Opry Company is dedicated to creating and maintaining a community-based organization to enhance our local theatre culture and provide a safe and open environment for all  participants.
